Romeo has been banished from Verona and has limited time left to spend with the one he loves, Juliet.

Imagine you had one last day in Quebec - what one (1) activity would you want to do before leaving for another "province?" (e.g. a day at Laronde, Granby Zoo, etc.) Explain.

  1. If I had a limited amount of time to spend in Quebec I would spend the remainder of my time with my family and close friends. I would throw a party in my honor and everybody would love it because the party would be insane and crazy. My family would cook, my friends would party and I would be the best host ever.

  2. If I had a limited amount of time left in Quebec I would honestly just stay at home and celebrate with my family. I would have a bunch of friends over to my place and we would just spend time together. It would be pretty awesome and I would spare no expense. I would invite every person that I wanted to be with and we would hang out until I left. It would be pretty fun.

    1. I completely agree. It would be a great way to spend your last day in Quebec with your friends. And yes it would be really really fun.

  3. If I had one last day in Quebec I would spend it at my house. I know it doesn’t sound very exciting but I have already seen lots of Quebec and I don’t think that I could get much more of it in one day. If I were to never be at my house again of course I would want to spend my last day there with all of my friends and family. Its true what they say that home is were the heart is and it would be so hard to leave my home and my heart, behind that I would want to get as many memories out of it to last me a life time. I have already had so many fun times doing other things that, for my last day, one at home would be just right and a great way to say goodbye before I left. I have lived in the same house for my whole entire life and it is so hard to imagine being anywhere else but there. So again it may be a bit abnormal but for my last day in Quebec I would spend it at home surrounded by my family and friends and of course having some poutine.

    1. That's so sweet! I hope that you never have to leave your heart behind. ;)How very quebecer of you to want poutine on your last day!

    2. I think you're absolutely right with your idea that spending your last day with your family is better than going to some attraction :)

  4. In a couple of years, after high school and Cégep, I can absolutely see myself leaving Quebec to live elsewhere. While this thought excites me, there would potentially be one thing I would really miss. Here in Quebec, we are fortunate enough to spend every Christmas up to our knees in snow, something that many places around the world do not have. White Christmases and winter activities are where I have some of my fondest memories, and I would hate to have to say goodbye to them. That’s why if I had one day left in Quebec, and it was winter of course, I would spend it enjoying every last snowflake, snowman and snowball fight with my friends and family. Here in Canada, there are absolutely many places where there’s plenty of snow, but there’s something about the winter here and spending it with your loved ones. For these reasons, if I were to leave Quebec in the winter, I would spend my last day outside, playing in the snow, making memories that will stay with me no matter where I live.

  5. If my days in the province of Quebec were numbered, I would take all my friends and family and drive to Quebec city. I have always wanted to go, and it would be so amazing if I could experience it with all the ones closest to me. We would go site seeing, check out the town and maybe even catch a movie. For some unexplainable reason I have always marvelled at the fact of going to Québec city, it just seems so cool and magical. I would really enjoy going to Québec city period. But add in all my family and friends, now its the best trip ever!

  6. If I was getting banished from Quebec, but had one more day to do anything before my departure. Something I would do is wake up early and get all my friends. After I get all my friends I would take them downtown to go get something to eat before we start the day. Next I would go any where with them for example just walk with them on Sherbrooke until we find something to do. We would spend the whole day downtown and just enjoy every moment of it until there isn't nothing else to enjoy, which means until the next day since that's the day I would have to go. That's what I would do if I would have one day left in Quebec, have a great time all day and night.

  7. If I only had one day left in Quebec I would probably have all of my closest friends over for part of the day, and the for the other part of the day I would have some family come over because they all live in Quebec. I would also order some really good poutine and beaver tail because I would want to get in some good last tastes of the classic foods from here. I would try and squeeze in the last few moments of fun with all of them, and hopefully remember them once I’m moved away.

    1. I would do the same, just stuff my face with poutine and beaver tails and take a couple to go as well ;)

    2. That sounds like so much fun! And poutine and beaver tails are the best Quebec food ever!!

  8. If I was kicked out of Quebec today and I had one last day until I move away, I would go to Laronde for the entire day. I know that everyone has been to Laronde but I still haven't been there. Everyone tells me that I'm crazy for not ever going but honestly, I'm terrified of roller coasters and rides like that. They make me dizzy and nausious and I'm also extremely afraid of heights. I can barely go down the escalators in Fairview. So that's why I want to go because I would want to face my extreme fear before I leave. Plus I would want to go with all of my closest friends because it would be ten times more fun than scary.

  9. If it was my last day in Quebec I would definitely go to the new Lamborghini store and test drive all the cars in that place. Being able to even see a car like that is an experience but driving one, now that's life changing. What do you know I might even be so lucky as to have enough money to buy one of my own. These cars are so exclusive and rare that you can count some of them with one hand so why not spend your last days driving them?

  10. If it were my last day in Quebec I would find the best cafe in all of Quebec. I would spend my morning there, eating with my friends all the greatest pastries, desserts and drinks. Then, obviously I wouldn't spend my entire day there, so I would go to ISaute with my friends and have so much fun there. Then I would spend my night at Laronde going on all the fun roller coasters and doing whatever because I know I can never come back. Then I would walk around old Montreal taking all the pictures I could because I want to remember the place where I was born. Also, I would probably try to sneak into a club or something with my friends because I would never come back.

  11. There are so many things I love to do in Quebec and if I had one day left before being vanished I would spend time with friends and family. With friends I would go downtown to St Katherine’s street and go shopping. Then I would go to Laronde for a bit, go on all my favorite rides and eat a beaver tale. After that I would spend some time at isaute. I would then go home and spend time with family because they are really important to me. Then with all my friends and family I would go out to La Belle Province and eat a large bowl of poutine. We would then go back to my house and hang out.

  12. If I only had one more day in Quebec I would drive up to Mont-Tremblant with all of my friends and spend the whole day relaxing and buying as many beaver tales as possible. Mont-Tremblant is a great place to go at any season. There is always something to do, and Mont-Tremblant just brings up great memories of when I went with my family and also my friends. I think spending my last day there would be beautiful we would go on hikes and just walk around enjoying everything before leaving.

  13. If I had one more day in Quebec, I would go to the old port and walk around while eating a ‘queue de castor’. They are just so good I’d need to have one before I leave. I would just walk around and look at the view one last time. I would also go see my family to say goodbye. I would miss them a lot so I can’t leave without saying goodbye.

    1. I also agree that going to the old port would be a good thing to do. In my opinion that place represents quebec as a whole!

  14. If my time was limited in Quebec, I would probably drive up to my cottage for a day. That is the place I would miss the most. I would try and do as many things as possible : canoe ride, sailing, motorboating, hiking etc. My cottage is probably the most important place to me in quebec because it is so calm there and a lot of my best friends go up there during the summer. Something about sailing in the middle of the lake while watching the shore in case a random animal will pop-up in the hot sun just really makes me happy. I would also make sure to say goodbye to my family and friends if they did not come with me to the cottage.

  16. If I had one more day in Quebec, I would go to the Cinema and watch every single movie. I would only pay for one of them then just sneak into the rest of them. That is one of the perks of living near Kirkland. I have been to the movies multiple times, with many different people and it is always fun. My favorite part about the movie theater is the popcorn and TCBY, sadly they stopped making them.

  17. If I had a day left in Quebec I would most definitely spend my final hours finding a place to hide or live in, get stocked up on food and supplies then I would probably end the day by hanging out with my friends and probably go do as many things as possible in 24 hours. I would most likely go to LaRonde and spend my last hours there then go home order a bunch of pizza then go to the place where I plan to hide for the rest of my life. Overall getting kicked from Quebec would not be a fun experience and I hope it never happens.

  18. If I only had one day left in Quebec, I would probably spend the day with my friends and family, just having fun. I would probably go up to people and tell them how I really felt about them whether it’s good or bad. I would also just spend quality time with my friends doing what we always do which is usually watch movies, play board games , or just jam out to old songs that we love. I would just make the day count and super fun. Then, I would hang out with my family and I would ask my dad to buy me my favorite meal for dinner. I would hate moving to a new place unless it was like Paris but it would still suck because I wouldn’t be with my family and friends and would never want that to happen to me.

  19. If had one day left to live in Quebec, I would spend it with my family on our boat. These are probably the best times I've spent with my family. Due to its size we are able to fit almost our entire family, including Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, etc. These have been the best times spent with my family because mainly we don't fight, we're just there to have fun.

  20. Even though almost every one said this, I would spend the day with family and friends. Since I am shy, I would also take this opportunity to be more outgoing in public. As in do things I would never do in public normally. The main thing I would do though is hang out with my friends and family members. I can't imagine my life without them and how hard it would be to have to leave them. I know that one day I probably won't be spending the rest of my life in Quebec but in real life I would be able to come back.

  21. i would spend my whole day with my friends and family, go downtown and visit everywhere Montreal has to offer, like Laronde , the malls, and all the restaurants id love to go to. i love food but I'm just sad i haven't tried so many. i would go to a restaurant that has all the Quebec or Canadian specialties and try to try them all. When I'm older i do want to leave quebec so this was hard to write since all i want to do is leave and move somewhere warm and not french speaking to be completely honest.

  22. If I had one last day here in Quebec, I would most likely spend it with my family and friends. If I could never come back I would want to say one last goodbye which would be my reasons for staying in and with family and friends. I have so many memories here and leaving would be sad but having loved ones there to say goodbye and have one last day to see each other would be my preferred last day scenario. The day would be spent talking, eating and having fun one last time all together before my departure. Also I would have to order some poutine as a going away lunch because well it tastes amazing even if it is quite bad for you.

  23. If i only had one more day in quebec i would spend my entire day doing really fun activities. Since leaving the province also means leaving my friends, i would spent the entire day with them. We would eat a breakfast at Tim Hortons. After that we would go downtown to Laronde and spend a couple hours there. We would share a poutine for lunch. After that we would bus downtown and enjoy a Schwartz sandwhich as a snack. Then we would just walk around downtown, go thrift shopping and then walk up and down mount royal. Finally, for supper, we would have Steamies from the Montreal Pool Room. After super we would go to Old Montreal and spend the rest of the night walking around, shopping and maybe enjoying an ice cream or beaver tale. All of these activities are things i have already done. Some people might be wondering why i would choose to do things i have already done and not enjoy new experiences. Well i wouldn't want to try something new on the last day because what if i ended up hating it and spent the rest of my life regretting the decision to try something new. This way i know that i will forsure have a great time.

  24. If i had only one day left in Quebec, I would spend it with my friends or family doing some of my favourite activities that Quebec has to offer. Some of my favourite memories are at LaRonde, downtown, and the bio dome. I would go to LaRonde with my friends, go downtown to shop at all my favourite stores and thrift shopping, walking for hours and finish off the trip with dinner at at a fast-food restaurant. Those days when i did that with my friends have to be my favourite memories yet! But i would also want to spend time with my family, my favourite family memories have taken place at the bio dome! I used to go there twice a week with my parents and my sister when i was younger and it was so fun. I recently went with my whole family including my aunt, uncle and my three year old cousins and i rediscovered how fun it is to see all the animals and walk around with my family. I had always imagined myself leaving Quebec as soon as I could but looking at all the memories i had and all the cool things I have been able to do here almost makes me want to stay.

  25. If I was leaving Quebec and was able to do one last activity, I would go to the Bell Centre and watch a Habs game with my family. The Montreal Canadiens have always been a big part of my family. We always sit together and watch the game. Our rituals usually include wearing our Habs shirts, rubbing our dog’s stomach for good luck and screaming our heads off when they score. We also have seating arrangements and we can’t complain. (My brothers made those rules) Another thing that usually happens is that my dad talks about how the team now is much worse than the Habs that he used to watch when he was a kid. I have only been to a few games and even when they lose, it’s always a great experience therefore it would be the one activity I would do before leaving Quebec.

  26. If I was leaving Quebec, I would definitely do something crazy! This might sound bad, but I'd rob a bank, jump of a bridge into the water, skydive off one of the most tallest artifacts in Quebec, and more! It's my last day; I am going to take advantage of it, even if it means getting hurt. Quebec is such an interesting place, but it could be even more interesting if you take advantage of what it has. I wouldn't take the time to say goodbye to my family members, spend the time crying and wishing I wasn't banished. Think on the positive side of things! No one is ever going to remember you, or see you again. Make a statement! You're already getting banished; what else do you have to lose?

  27. If I had one day left in Quebec, I would first go around the province looking for fun things to do then go back home with all my family and friends and order a whole bunch of different food. Quebec has a lot of great food to choose from which is why it would be great to get a whole bunch of it. A food I would probably get it poutine because it is the best here! It also has a lot of cool places that you can go and visit. Fun places to visit would be downtown because there are so many things to do there that could keep you busy all day.

  29. If I had 24 hours left in Quebec, I would probably go on a culinary adventure. For breakfast, I would have St-Viateur bagels because they are the best in the country! For lunch, a poutine at La Belle Province because they don't get any better than in Quebec. For dinner, Montreal smoked meat at Schwartz smoked meat shop. Last but not least, for dessert, pure maple syrup at the sugar shack. Something else I would do, is spend the day with my friends. I would plan a sleepover and stay up with them all night talking because me leaving the province would probably mean not talking to them in a while. That would be my ideal last day in this province.

  30. If I had one last day in Québec I would want to go see a Habs game. In the afternoon I would go see an Impact soccer game and laugh at how bad they are. I'd want to witness the Habs win a Stanley cup. I'd also eat so much poutine and beaver tails I would explode. Overall that would be an awesome day.

If I had a limited amount of time in Quebec which I'd make sure to spend everyday with my friends, having some alone time with each and everyone of them so we could catch up and say our goodbyes. I would make sure to visit all the cool tourists attractions I've never been too that are in Montreal or Quebec and I would also make sure to go to as many habs games as possible!!!! I would do that because her house is one of my favourite places to be! It is a little house with carpets everywhere and it is so cozy! I love her house and all the memories it has and I would have to say good bye to it! I would also go to my grandmothers' and grandfathers' cottages! I love the lake where my cottages are and I love my cottages themselves I am so lucky to have a place like them and they are one of my favourite place on earth as well! I love the cottages and the people in them and all the memories that we share in them! So these would be all the places I would have to go before I was banished from Quebec!!

  33. If I had one day left in Quebec, I would go say goodbye to my friends (not Eric) and my family in Quebec. Leaving would be hard because I have grown up in Quebec and it is where all my life is . It would be hard to leave because I would have to restart from scratch an that would be very difficult. I would then go and pack my things and then the fun would begin. First I would go crazy and do something bad to everybody I don't like (not murder).
