I have many good and bad birthday memories. I will start with the good one. Last year when I turned 15, I had my friends over for a sleepover. It was so much fun even though there were many injuries... We watched horror movies and stayed up until 5 in the morning. Also while one person slept we did pranks to her and it was so much fun just to hang out with my friends. A bad memory I have of a birthday is when I turned 14. I was coming back from school, I had had a great day then my mom brought me shopping for my birthday. I went in to the store feeling weak and dizzy. Then my mom asked if I wanted something to eat and I almost threw up right in the store. Then we went home and I ran into the bathroom and threw up. That night I threw up 8 times while my family ate my favorite dinner that my dad had made, tacos. The next few days I didn't throw up so I decided to eat. I ate that entire day and at night I threw up 5 more times. The only good thing I got out from that was I got to miss 2 days of school. Grace Makinson
I adore birthdays. Whether it’s a family member’s, a friend’s, or mine I’m happy to be there. I have had many incredible birthdays over the years, but there’s one memory that particularly stands out. My birthday is in March, so by then the weather is transitional, meaning pretty gross. Usually any remaining snow lays on the wet grass in dirty brown clumps and yet it’s still pretty cold. One year however, the stars aligned and on the evening before my birthday, it began to snow and didn’t stop till the following day! I got to experience one last winter wonderland day and the fact that it was on my birthday made it so much more special. I took full advantage of it, as I drank hot chocolate, went tobogganing, built a snowman and did many other great winter activities. On top of that, there was of course cake and presents, so overall, what was expected to be another pretty good birthday turned out to be one of the best ones ever!
My birthday has always been one of the most awesome and terrible times of my year and it all started in 2002 when I had my worst and best birthday of all. Now I don’t remember any of this, as many people don’t remember much as 2 year olds so this will be very vague. Its June 22, my birthday, my mom sets me down for a nap before my party; she is pregnant with my sister and due in a couple of weeks. She tells me that when I wake up it will be my party. However when I wake up I am at my cousin’s house because my mom is having my sister! So sadly I did not get a 2nd birthday party but I did get a little sister! We are exactly 2 years apart, born on June 22, in 2000 and 2002! Pretty cool right? Well it is sometimes a struggle sharing your special day with someone else but it is also something that my sister and I can celebrate together and let me tell you there have been some pretty interesting parties!
I have the same birthday as you!! And my mom and her sister had the exact same thing happen to them. They're both born on the same day except they're 2 years apart!
My birthday is also this week and hopefully it'll be a good one. I've had some bad birthdays but one in particular is my tenth birthday, i think. It was a sleepover party and sooo many things went wrong at the party. My friends and I decided to do a dance competition and we split into two teams but the other team thought it was unfair and this whole fight happened. But we all got over it a few minutes later. Then when it was time to go to bed, everyone kept fighting because some people wanted to sleep and some didnt and kept being loud. In the end it was still a nice party with some conflicts. This year, my birthday is on a Saturday and my brothers have tournaments and I have my bronze cross course for three hours that day so its going to be pretty busy. Overall, birthdays can be bad or good but they're both equally memorable.
My best birthday memory would have to be last year at my party. My party started around three o'clock on a nice Friday afternoon. Once everyone was there my sister drove us to Carrefour Laval. There we shopped until around eight at night. When we got back to my house we quickly ordered pizzas and set up our stuff in the basement. In the basement we tried to agree on a movie but we couldn't agree on one at first. While we were eating our pizza My friend Liane had the idea to check Netflix. Since I didn't have Netflix at the time we logged in on her account and were finally able to agree on two movies. We started the first movie but about half way through decided to go eat cake and open presents. After that we finished both movies and talked the whole night. It was so fun to get together with all my friends at once.
I love birthdays, I mean who doesn't, right! Everyone is just so happy and that's what I love about them. My birthday is in the summer and although I love that, just like everything else it has its down sides. My parents are still working and all my friends seem to be away so I usually didn't do much on the actual day itself... until last year. Last summer I spent a week at my cottage and it just so happened that my birhtday was that week aswell. I wasn't epecting much but my oh my was I suprised. There was a suprise birthday party for my cousin and I (we are only four days apart) the night before and on the actual day my cousins made a scavenger hunt for my presents and to top it all off my parents suprised me and came down to the cottage for dinner. I had so much fun but what I really loved was the effort that went into planning it all. It really made me feel like they cared about me on my special day. I will never forget that birthday, it is one that will go down as one of the best in history!
Every year since I was 4 years old, I've had a birthday party. Let's be honest, they're awesome. Who doesn't like getting free gifts, spending an entire day with your closest friends, and cake? I always love going extreme for these, and I honestly can't wait for my 16th one, because I am going to have something extraordinary planned. Anyways, the birthday party that I still clearly remember, is my 9th. I remember the night before, I caught a fever and was throwing up all night. I was still determined to have my party however, because the activity planned was to create our own tee-shirts! And on top of that, it was a pyjama party. After I told my mom about how much I wanted to have this party, she agreed to keep it as planned. Although parents seem to worry and freak out with sick children playing with theirs, so my mom puts foundation on me to cover up the bags under my eyes, and to give more of a golden glow than a sick white. I also took 2 advils, a couple teaspoons of dime tap, and something else that I forget at the moment. During the party, I was not having a fun time. My stomach was killing and I had to blow my nose every five seconds. The parents never found out I was sick though so part of the plan worked!
The most fun I've ever had in my childhood was at my fifth grade Birthday party. I have always been old fashioned but that year I was absolutely in love with the fifties. I loved the music and the clothing style. That year, I decided to have a fifties themed Birthday party. My guests all came dressed up in leather jackets and poodle skirts and we celebrated at the jukebox diner in our costumes. Everyone complimented us on our costumes and we spent the whole night dancing to Grease songs in front of the Jukebox. It was a blast!
I've never had a bad birthday that I can remember.. But my best birthday was when I turned 13. I had invited my friends over and surprisingly April wasn't cold that year. But we ate snacks and hung out in my backyard for a bit. We then went out to the this arcade place and played there for a while and it was so much fun! After that we played two games of laser tag which was pretty awesome because I one both of them. After that we went bowling and that was also really fun even though I sucked. We then came back to my house and my friends and I had a silly string fight around my house and made a huge mess. They then stayed over really late and we were stuffed with pizza, cake and other junk food. It was such a great party!
Out of all my amazing birthday memories, my favourite would probably be my 13th birthday. The reason that it was so fun was because, all my friends and I went paint balling. It was my first time ever going, but I heard it was a lot of fun, so i decided to go with my friends. I still remembered what happened like it was yesterday. We started the game i ran straight into the enemies territory, it was at that moment that I knew i was in trouble because i felt lots of paint in my arms, I was being shot by the other team it hurt so badly that I could not lift my arm for 10 minutes. After the pain went away I realized how fun it really was.
The best birthday I've ever had was when I turned 14. I invited all my friends over for a sleepover. We had so much fun! Everyone came at around 3pm just so we can hangout before we would go free skating. I'm not the best skater so when we had gone, I embarrassed myself quite a bit, but it was ok because I still had fun and laughed about it with my friends. After skating, we all went back to my house to have dinner and cake. We listened to music, spoke about everything and anything. Someone even decided to prank call another city at 1 in the morning! It was so fun and so nice. I wish I could go back and re-live that moment. It was such a great party! I hope this years birthday goes just as well.
I love birthdays in general. All of my friends know that whenever they have their parties I will always be the first one to reply and will be looking forward to it since the moment I know about it! From what I can remember I have had lots of good birthdays and none that were bad, so I guess that’s good! I can’t really pick one specific birthday that was my favorite because there were a few years that I would do the same thing every time. They were when I was younger, like around toddler age to 7 ish. I would invite all of my friends to go to this park in Vancouver near my house. We would have a picnic outside and then go play in the jungle gym. I know that it doesn’t sound like anything special or that interesting, but to me it used to be the best thing ever!
My favorite birthday memory was probably last years birthday because it was on terry fox day. I got to spend the whole day with my friends and I was able to go to the dance that night. It was pretty awesome because of all the things we did. It was also awesome because I got to do all of my favorite things that day: run, sail (after school) and hang out with my friends. I also was finally able to afford my laptop on that day which was a huge bonus. Happy birthday Mr. Katz!
My favorite birthday parties are the nice simple ones. No set plans or things to do, just inviting some friends over and hanging out. I have done this for my birthday the last 3 years or so. It is usually a sleep over and my friends and I usually try and stay up as long as possible, which is all night. We sometimes decide to go to Sky Tag, or play video games, or maybe even just hang out at the park a bit. Anyways for its not what we do, its the manner in which we do it. Its always nice and simple and we do whatever we want. Those are my favorite types of birthdays.
Okay so I've had my fair share of birthday parties probably good ones and bad ones, but frankly I can't remember any of them because well, my memory is at level 0, and i mean like I can only remember important things that have happened to me, but I do remember last years party which was actually pretty good. I was obsesed with the book since before it was even close to be popular, and so when I heard there was a movie coming out of course I had to see the premier. To my luck the movie came out on March 20th (my birthday), and so I got all of my friends and we all went to see it. My worst birthday was went I turned 8... or 9 or 10 I honestly have no idea but that doesn't really matter, so my friend was having her birthday party on the same exact day as my real birthday. First of all her birthday was in January... That means that she had 3 whole months to have a birthday party, but instead she decided to have it on my birthday... THANKS :). Of course I couldn't miss her birthday party so I went of course, and no body remembered my birthday. I couldn't just steal her birthday thunder! So I told everyone my birthday was the day after that! I thought it was the smartest move.
I shared a birthday party with my best friend when I was about 6. She was my best friends since pre-school. We had our birthday party in the upstairs of Costco. It was the best sharing, my birthday party with my best friends. Everything was perfect until we had cake. Our parents made the mistake of only putting one princess figurine on the cake. We fought for that figurine for a really long time. Her mom came up with an idea; she keeps it for one week and I keep it for the other week and we alternate. Till this day I think she still has that figurine, I never got to keep it for a week. -Lily Rebeiro
I've had many birthday parties through out the years. Some good and some bad. I don't remember all of them at this moment but I personally believe the one that stands out the most would definitely have to be when I turned 8. It was a very big party, we invited friends, had a clown and even rented out a whole gym to celebrate it in. I don't remember everything about the party but I do remember that it was very fun. I know it doesn't sound amazing but I don't remember all the little details but I hope I have another birthday party as fun as that one!
My favourite birthday was when I turned 12 years old. That year, my dad and I along with some of my friends and their fathers went up to a cottage for my birthday. It was a lot of fun because that weekend all we did was hang around the cottage making fires, burning things and eating a lot of junk food. It was also a great year for presents as I racked up lots of cash.
I have not had one birthday that has been particularly better than any other since all my birthdays are filled with candy, friends, family and cake. Every year I spend it with my friends and I get lots of candy since my birthday is on Halloween. But I think that my 12th birthday was a very nice one. I spent it with my friends and family and I got my first laptop from my parents, so all in all it was a good one.
My favorite birthday memory was when I was turning 8, which was my last birthday before I moved from Chicago to Montreal. I was on American Thanksgiving which meant football and hanging out with all my friends that lived on the street with me. So, to start this off I remember getting ready for my party and helping out my dad with the drinks and chips for the game that everyone was going to watch after the party. Of course when I heard the doorbell ring I was super excited to open it and see who was the first one that came, which so happens to be my best friend Kyle who was a year a head of me in school but about 4 months older so we didn't care too much that we were in different grades. After everyone arrived we ate dinner which I remember being a huge turkey that a bunch of the dads were cooking in the back on the grill. After we all ate we had desert which was of course cake. Then I got my gifts and opened them getting a bunch of cool hockey jerseys, hats, a soccer ball, a new baseball glove, and some hockey cards. When that all finished we went downstairs to go start watching the game that I remember was the Green Bay Packers against another team that I can't remember. I had the time of my life because it was just so much fun from my party to watching the football game, and playing a humungous game of soccer on my front lawn, after we got all the hardware and construction lights all connected. That was my best birthday memory.
A good birthday memory that I have had is when I was younger but I don’t really remember how old I was. It wasn’t too long ago but I was still in elementary school. For my party I had all my best friends come to my house to celebrate! I was really excited because I had planned a scavenger hunt in the village of Pointe Claire because I live ne’er there. My team didn’t win but it was still super fun and when we got back to my house we had pizza and decorating cupcakes and I had an amazing time at my party.
I have had some great and not so great birthday memories. One of my favorite birthday memories was this past birthday. I spent the entire birthday with some of my bestfriends. First, we went out for breakfast together at Ben and Florentines. Then we walked over to my summer pool (my home away from home in the summer) and hung out there all day together. Later in the evening I went out for dinner with my family. Once dinner was over, we went home and had a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. It wasn't a huge special birthday full of events but it was one of my favorites because it was spent with my favorite people. -Elisabeth Laflamme
My best birthday memory was during family party for my eighth birthday. The day of my birthday before the party I got goalie pads as a gift because even though I didn’t play hockey every year my dad would make a rink for my siblings and I in our backyard. So we could play on it. During my party all my cousins were over and we were having a massive game of hockey. I of course was goalie. This is my favorite memory because it was the last time my cousins from both sides of my family were doing something big like this.
I have had a lot of good birthday memories. I remember on my 7th birthday, I had a party at this place Kitty Land. It was literally where every little girl had their birthday. It was so much fun cause we all got our hair done and there was a bouncy castle. There was even a slide that landed into a ball pit. We all had cake and pizza and I just remember that being a very good birthday. I wish I was still little and could have birthday parties like that again.
One of my best birthday memory was probably my 8th birthday. Now back then, high schoool musical was considered the best movie ever. So i begged my mom to have a birthday party at the movies to see high school musical 3 and that i wanted to invite all my friends. And, this was my first birthday with all my friends. So everyone I invited ended up coming and I knew it was going to be the best day ever. So once the party was over, we had cake, opened presents and all that. Then the day I went back to school, everyone at the party was saying how cool and fun my party was and i felt so proud of myself. But I would consider that my best birthday because I got to spend it with all my friends seeing the best movie ever
I don't have many bad birthday memories, since most of mine include presents;) But last year, mine was pretty good! I had finally reached a point where I knew who my closest friends were! We all got together and hungout. Nothing big, just stayed up really late, watched the habs game and saturday night live as well as some movies. Though it was casual, it meant a lot to me because it meant so much that all of my friends were getting along with each other and enjoying themselves. I don't always enjoy having all the attention, which is why having everyone treat the day like a fun normal get-together instead of a birthday party which made it a lot less stressful and enjoyable! This was probably one of my best!
I only remember one bad birthday memory that happened when I was six years old. It started off as a bad birthday but ended up to be pretty fun. When I was in Kindergarten, I had my first birthday party with friends. I thought it would be a cool idea to go bowling at the time, especially because there was going to be a disco ball and music. I was so excited to play when I noticed that all of my friends, except one of them, did not want to play and would rather dance. I was really sad because I did not want to dance. I played with the one friend who wanted to and had fun until she joined the rest of my friends. I looked to the end of the room and saw my brothers bowling and having fun. This is when I decided to ditch my friends and play with my brothers and ended up having a fun time with them.
For my thirteenth birthday my family and I were in Disney world!! My birthday is March 7th so my birthday usually falls on March break! I love this because I get to go on vacation on my birthday sometimes!! On my thirteenth birthday it was extremely special because I got to have dinner with my family in Cinderella's castle!! It was so fun and cool! We saw the fire works from the castle and there were thousands of people gathered around the castle as we went out on the balcony at the top of the castle to wave! In the castle I met all of the princesses and had an amazing dinner! It was like a reenactment of Cinderella at her ball and it was defiantly my favourite birthday!! I felt like a true princess!! Hope you had a good birthday sir! Happy birthday!!
For my 9th, 10th and 11th birthday my parents brought me to Disney World! They flew my family and I to Florida on march break and we stayed there for approximately two weeks. My birthday is on Mach 16th so I was able to spend the day of my birthday at which ever park I wanted. For my 9th birthday I choose too go to "Magic Kingdom". It was amazing, it is truly a place where memories come true. For my 10th birthday I choose too go to "Typhoon Lagoon". This is a huge water park with different slides and pool's, it was humongous. Finally, for my 11th birthday I went to "Animal Kingdom" which was my favorite park. They have a ride carved into a mountain called "The Yeti" it was extremely fast and exciting. Their was also a safari ride which lasted about an hour. This was probably my favorite part because I got to see so many different types of exotic animals. These are my most memorable and exciting birthday's.
I have many good and bad birthday memories. I will start with the good one. Last year when I turned 15, I had my friends over for a sleepover. It was so much fun even though there were many injuries... We watched horror movies and stayed up until 5 in the morning. Whether they were good or bad, I think we can agree that you've had some truly memorable birthdays.

I also was finally able to afford my laptop on that day which was a huge bonus. Happy birthday Mr. Katz!
ReplyDeleteI find spending time with your friends is the best way to spend birthdays, no matter what your doing.
DeleteMy favorite birthday parties are the nice simple ones.
ReplyDeleteI love those kinds of birthdays, and sky tag is the best!
DeleteEmphasis on "try" and stay up.
DeleteOkay so I've had my fair share of birthday parties probably good ones and bad ones, but frankly I can't remember any of them because well, my memory is at level 0, and i mean like I can only remember important things that have happened to me, but I do remember last years party which was actually pretty good.
ReplyDeleteAww that sucks but I hope you still had fun at her party. And I have that problem all time because my best friends birthday is 2 days after mine.
DeleteI shared a birthday party with my best friend when I was about 6.

ReplyDeleteI dont like clowns theyre scary
DeleteMy favourite birthday was when I turned 12 years old. That year, my dad and I along with some of my friends and their fathers went up to a cottage for my birthday. It was a lot of fun because that weekend all we did was hang around the cottage making fires, burning things and eating a lot of junk food. It was also a great year for presents as I racked up lots of cash.
ReplyDeleteI have not had one birthday that has been particularly better than any other since all my birthdays are filled with candy, friends, family and cake. Every year I spend it with my friends and I get lots of candy since my birthday is on Halloween. But I think that my 12th birthday was a very nice one. I spent it with my friends and family and I got my first laptop from my parents, so all in all it was a good one.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite birthday memory was when I was turning 8, which was my last birthday before I moved from Chicago to Montreal.
ReplyDeleteA good birthday memory that I have had is when I was younger but I don’t really remember how old I was.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like so much fun. I live scavenger hunts!
Deletethat sounds so fun! i did that also at my friends party and i found it soo fun!
DeleteI have had some great and not so great birthday memories.

ReplyDeleteI have had a lot of good birthday memories.

DeleteI think I went there for one of my birthday parties too!! It was so much fun and it was every little girls dream!!
DeleteOne of my best birthday memory was probably my 8th birthday.

DeleteThat sounds like so much fun! I also had a birthday party to see High School Musical 3!
DeleteI don't have many bad birthday memories, since most of mine include presents;) But last year, mine was pretty good!
ReplyDeleteI only remember one bad birthday memory that happened when I was six years old.
ReplyDeleteFor my thirteenth birthday my family and I were in Disney world!!
ReplyDeleteFor my 9th, 10th and 11th birthday my parents brought me to Disney World!
