This term has been a term full of success. Academically, it was one of the strongest terms I’ve had since first arriving at St-Thomas, something I am very proud of. But more importantly, it was a few months well spent with some great friends. At the beginning of grade 9, I met a lot of great new people, but it was really during this term that I became closer with them and got to truly know some wonderful friends. That to me was the highlight of the past couple of months, and overall, it was a term full of academic achievement and lots of great times well spent with great people. I hope that in term 3, I continue to get strong grades in school and get to know more people, building off this very successful term and enjoying the rest of grade 9.
Term 2 has been an overall pretty good term for me. I got the occasional bad mark here and there, but for the most part it was good. I had some really good times spent with my friends and I hope that I continue to have those great times with them. In term 3, there are a few things and subjects that I would like to work on. Mostly math. Math has always been a difficult subject for me, and I hope to become better at it. I also have to get in the habit of not procrastinating! That is a big one for me, I just have to get things done and out of the way so that I could do the other things that I’ve got to do. I would also like to work on being less shy, and participating in class, but I can’t promise anything!
I have amazing teachers this year. I thought that by now, because we're in grade 9, there would be more work, more stress and mean teachers. I was obviously wrong. I actually haven't been getting as much homework as I thought I would. Grade 9 isn't as bad or as stressful as I thought it would be. The teachers that I have this year are all so nice. They are really good teachers. They have great ways/tricks to help you understand what you find complicated. They really know how to teach. They go into detail with everything to make sure you understand what they're doing. I hope that this term, I will do even better in terms of grades. I'm doing great as is now, but I still want to try and do better. Good grades is what I always aim for.
So far this year has been very new. This is a positive thing because it means that there have been many good changes. Some are just the teachers I have and their teaching styles. Others are the new friends that I have made and plan to keep for a very long time. In other ways this year has stayed very much the same to ones in the past. I have maintained the same grades as before which is always nice and I have continued to persevere in my goals and keep doing the things I love. What I am hoping for in the final term is for something exciting to happen. I want to mix it up a bit and try something new and unexpected. I think that a fun surprise would be a great way to end the 2014-2015 school year!
This term was very positive for me. I did really well on my midterms (first time since I got to St Thomas) and I made and alot of new friends! Academically this term was very strong so that is always fun and socially this term was alot of fun aswell. Sleepovers, movies, girl's nights and good grades, what more and a girl ask for? My hopes for term three are to continue this lucky streak. I hope to do well on finals and finish grade 9 with great grades and great friends! Overall, I really can't complain about term 2, in fact I must say I actually enjoyed it (2 weeks off come on!) and I hope to continue the year the same way!
In term 2 a lot of great things happened but by far the best thing besides seeing your friends everyday was the fact that I barely got any projects or big assignments to do which is freaking amazing because when I get home I would actually have some time to relax and stay with my family while not stressing about all the work I have! In term 3 I guess I can look forward to maybe having the same luck as did in term 2 which is to not have a killer amount of work and I also look forward to receiving some more good marks.
This term was not too bad. I had a great Christmas, winter and great marks. I am very proud of myself for succeeding in school. I knew grade 9 was going to be hard and I'm proud that I've been doing so well so far this term. I had a great Christmas had fun with my family and friends and got many awesome gifts. Also, winter was so much fun because I learned how to snowboard and had so much fun doing it. I had a great first and second term and I hope the third will be even better.
This term academically was pretty good. I remember one of my goal's was to succeed in math and I am really proud to say I got 94% on my math mid-term. Even though I have succeeded in math, I still want to do better in science and I want to put more effort into French and English class. I feel as if I can do better. Socially nothing has changed, I still have the same friends and I am happy with my social status. For third term I want to do really well in Math and Science because they are the most important in my opinion. Second term was great and I hope term 3 will be even better.
This year, I have been doing pretty well in school. I am trying really hard to have a lot of success. I have also gotten a lot closer with a lot of people and my friends. Some of my best friends go to other schools so it’s hard to see them as often as the ones that do go to my school, but this year has been good because I see most of them every weekend. For the final, academically I hope to get stronger and do well on everything that there is to do especially the final exams. Socially I hope to make more new friends and get even closer with my best friends.
This school year has been pretty good so far. Academically to start, I like most of my classes and I'm starting to really understand math class, so that's a plus. Also I've really been trying harder to get better marks, and it seems to be working, my teachers are no longer telling me to study and focus more. Socially, I am very happy. I made so many new friends this year and all of my best friends made it on the Europe trip, so it's perfect, we will all room together, and we didn't have that awkwardness of saying sorry to that one person who didn't make it. I have also gotten closer to old friends and had the chance to go on a trip with one of my bestest friends.
This term was pretty positive because I did very well in my classes. My grades were pretty high, especially my midterms. I have been working harder and I feel like it is paying off. Hopefully I will be able to get a higher average than last term. In term 3, I really hope that I am able to get even higher than this term, and work even harder. I also want to do good in track and field which is going to start soon. Also, this is unrelated to school but I hopefully do well in my fights in my karate tournaments.
Overall this term was very successful both socially and academically. I really have gotten closer with some of my friends and i am very grateful for that. I got through midterms and did very well on them which i am ecstatic about and i did well in most of my classes which i am also happy about. Next term i hope to do even better in my classes so i could be prepared for finals. I also hope to continue to get close with some of my friends and just have fun.
Overall I think that this term was a very successful term I believe that I did very well academically, most of my test have been very good and on my midterm exams I did very well on them. Socially I think that it was a pretty a pretty good few months to, I got closer to a few of my friends, I'm looking forward to next term, I hope this one will be even better.
I think that term 2 was pretty good term academically as I did well on my midterms and most of my assignments have been pretty good so far. Socially the term was great, had a good time with friends and being on the hockey team is alot of fun. For term 3 I hope to improve where I didnt do so well in term 2 and I also hoe to prepare myself properly for finals in June.
That's so fun that you joined the hockey team! I joined the swim team this term with some friends and I am already making new ones! I think it's great to get involved!
I think this term was worse then last term. I was upset with my science midterm and my math grades havent been too good.I also missed more blogs then usual so I am quite worried for my mark. I thought I had done well in Term 1 and I ended up just making honor role with a 84.5% average! Overall though, I was super pleased with he St.Thomas girls hockey team! This is by far our best year! We've won the GMAA championship and have gone undefeated the entire season!!! I've also gotten closer to all the girls on the team so life's been pretty good.
In general grade 9 has been one of the hardest grades yet. I was so surprised on how challenging it was. But I think term two has been going pretty ok with my grades. I am struggling a bit but I am doing better then I hoped. I also passed both my midterms which I am very happy about. This year I've also made so many new friends and I have became more social and have started talking to many new people. I also participate a lot more in class and feel more connected with my teachers. Something I hope for the third term is that I get my marks up a bit and actually start studying seriously. I also hope I make more new friends.
I think that this term went really well, I achieved success in all of my classe and to my knowledge I didn't fail anything. I have also started hanging out with people I usually don't hang out with so it has been interesting. I really like most of my teachers and most of my classmates, however there are some exceptions. I think I did a lot better this term academically and socially and hope for an equally good term 3.
This term has been quite a good term academically speaking, I have been quite successful in my studies and have understood many of the new material being taught. I have also been hanging out with my friends more and more after school which has been interesting. I think that this term I did better than last term because now I am more familiar with what each of my teachers want in the assignments that they assign. I hope that third term turns out as well as this term.
So far in the school year, my grades have been getting so much better and I feel more motivated to do better and actually study for tests, except for history. All my teachers are really nice and they don't give an unreasonable amount of projects and homework. Plus the midterms surprisingly boosted up my marks because they were easy. So hopefully term 3, I would pay more attention in history and study harder because I got really bad on the in-class midterm. Also to be more attentive in general because I have a small attention span so I need to work on the for the next term.
I believe my term was very good I improved a lot of my grades but at the same time doing a bit worse in others, I passed all my midterms and learned a lot of new things. Socially there really wasn't a huge difference I met 2 new people but I still have the same friends. Overall I believe this term was very successful and I hope the next one is even better.
So far through out the school year, I have been getting better and better in my classes, grades, and getting more relaxed with my teachers by getting to know them a lot more. In my mind I find this to be the easiest and most fun filled year because, one we don't have any college or cegep entry exams and it's the first year we can go off school grounds during lunch. I find this the only year to be the best one is because in sec 1 and 2 you are still adjusting to high school since it's really different from elementary, and sec 4 and 5 because you're stressing out over entry exams and who's going where after graduation and I hope I see that person again or don't see again, and stuff like that. That's what I got out of this year so far.
This term 2, I achieved a lot of things. I did well in my tests and I hope I do better in third term. Academically, I did well but I can 100% do better. I can focus more and put studying ahead of hanging out with friends or just procastinating. I really need to focus so that I don't fail my classes and need to put more effort in some of them. Socially, I'm really happy. I got closer with people in our grade and made more friends which I find pretty good. Third term I hope I study more for exams because they are important.
This year something positive that happend was that I had a party for my birthday. This doesn't really sound like a big accomplishment for most but before this year the last time I had friends over for my birthday was grade five. I don't know why I stopped having parties that party was great, my friends and I played hockey on the rink in my backyard and we ate pizza, what more can you ask for. This year is going to be great I can feel it.
Academically, I think I did pretty well this term. I noticed that every year I do the best first term, lower second term and I do well third term. I think what happens is that since it’s the beginning of the year, I try really hard but start procrastinating second term. I still try really hard all year but think I can do even better. I was actually really happy with my mark for science this year because usually it's my weakest subject but I think this year will be my best. As for history, I never do well in that subject so I wasn't really surprised with my mark. My goals for third term are to not procrastinate and make history one of my top subjects. I know that this will be hard because I can't really get engaged in the topic therefore it's harder to retain information but I will try my best to improve my marks in this subject.
I think I've done pretty well in most of my classes this past terms. I think I've even improved my marks in some classes. Yet there is still one teacher who doesn't know my name... Hopefully that will change come third term. Socially I've met new people and made new friends. I've gotten into spats with a friend but we always work things out and that's why I love my friends so much.
I am excited to start term three but I think that I did pretty well overall in term two! I started doing a lot better in math which was my biggest struggle in term one. I was really nervous about my mid year exams but I ended up doing really well! I had a lot of fun with friends in term two and I'm excited to have even more fun in term three! In term three I would really like to always do all of my math home work and really work on remembering to do my blogs!! I can't believe it's already term three!

ReplyDeleteMath can get complicated at times, but always try your best. That's all that counts.
DeleteFor some people math can be hard but it will eventually become easy.
