I think the thing I’m most excited for this spring is finally being able to put away all my winter clothes. After 6 months of brutally cold winter, I can now take out my t-shirt, shorts and shoes and put away all my thick sweaters, coats and boots. It feels amazing to have a lighter wardrobe and to re-acquaint myself with the concept of heat. As much as I love snow and winter, spring this year has been really delayed so I’ve definitely had my share of cozy sweaters and thermal boots and I’m ready to move on and start a new season. This spring is also a reminder of the fact that summer is on its way, where I can relax by the pool all day in flip flops and not worry about a thing. With the arrival of spring weather, I can now look forward to wearing all my warmer weather clothes, which after the winter we’ve had, is really something to celebrate.

DeleteI am so excited for spring. Today felt like a brand new year and a fresh start to school. I know how teachers usually say that kids grow a bit reckless in spring and I can totally see that. But I, on the other hand find that spring makes me more motivated in school because summer is almost here and I know that I have to work hard to get there. I am most excited for the hot weather that comes with spring. Today was absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait for weather continuously this sunny. Another great element about spring is the clothes. I spent most of my winter in baggy sweatpants so I am stoked to be able to wear shorts, skirts and leggings without having to check the weather first. Spring and summer give you tons of leeway in the fashion department. I am so thankful to be saying goodbye to huge coats, mitts and jackets and saying hello to flip-flops. Overall I would say that I definitely have spring fever!

DeleteI'm very happy that spring is finally here but I am also sad that winter is gone. This specific winter was terrible I hated it because it was always brutally cold and there was not enough snow to go with that. When we get winters that are filled with snow and its not bone chillingly cold then I miss it when summer comes around. This year I am very exited to start going bike riding again with my family and who doesn't love to swim?! Spring also means that there is a track meat soon and we will have to go up against some pretty tough schools in May. Overall I just can't wait to hang out with friends outside for a change and start breathing the fresh spring air.

DeleteI love hot weather, in fact I flourish in the heat! That is exactly why I can't wait to break out my flip flops and sunglasses! To be honest I don't really love the spring, I mean I love the flowers and the sun but I personally don't find it warm enough for shorts but at the same time, it is too hot for pants. The thing that I love about spring is that it means the end of school and summer are close! I also love the new trends that spring brings, all the pastel colours are so cute! I usually enjoy the winter but this year I couldn't be more ready for the spring! Spring, here we come!

DeleteSpring is my absolute most favorite season! The thing I love the best about spring, is all the colours. The trees start sprouting flowers and leaves full of color. I have this one tree in the front of my house that blooms only once or twice a year at spring time. It has beautiful pink flowers and it just lights up my whole lawn, especially when they fall on the grass. Even the grass is so bright in the spring time, and around my neighbourhood there are bunnies everywhere. I love watching all of the animals run around the streets. One year we fond a family of chipmunks in another tree on our lawn. The babies were as small as my pinky. Spring is also the time my neighbours like to light fireworks. Spring just wouldn't be the same without all of these things.

DeleteI am definitely excited for the hockey playoffs to start in hope that MTL will win it all this year!! However, the sight of grass is what got me most excited. Grass means independence. I'll get to jog on my own in the mornings, bike on my own to the library, to pharmaprix or to IGA (for my parents), to menchies after school and to different hockey arenas that I am assigned to ref at or to instruct kids how to skate at. Most importantly, grass means long walks around the lake of centennial Park with my granddad. He is a strict british gentlemen that is somehow in crazy good shape! He takes walks through the woods and around the lake 3 times a day, swims laps every second day, and plays tennis in his free time, not to mention his involvement as a chauffer in my hectic schedule. Spring means I will get to spend much more time with my incredible granddad and I can't wait to do so.

DeleteI am definitely someone who loves spring!! First of all because I am a spring baby which means I was born to love spring. I love the warm weather, beautiful flowers that grow and the smell and feeling of rain. I love hanging outside with my friends and family during spring time and eating outside at lunch. I also love how happy spring is. Every season has a feeling and spring is that happy inside feeling one. Another awesome thing about spring is that school finally ends. When school ends a whole weight is lifted off everyone's shoulders and we are free. I also love taking walks at night during spring time. It's such a great season!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited it's spring... because after spring it's SUMMER!!!!! I love the fresh spring smell (except the cow manure) that you get when you walk outside. I love to see all the buds on the trees and smell the flowers. The only thing I hate is the ugly, dirty snow you see melting. I love spring because at school instead of staying in the caf at lunch we can eat outside in the fresh, clean, hot, air. After spring it's summer!!!! I love spring the most because I know school is ending soon which means it's almost summer!!! I love summer because I love to swim and hang out outside in the heat. Spring for me means SUMMER IS CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy the winter is finally over! It seems like this year it was longer than usual so I'm super happy to see it all melting! One of the things I always look forward to is being able to stop wearing so many layers. Don't get me wrong, I like to get cozy with big chunky hoodies in the winter but I also love to wear just a tshirt. The second thing is that it means summer is coming and that we can start barbecuing.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited for Spring because the horrible winter is finally over. No more winter jackets and boots and snow. One thing that I am really excited for in Spring is definitely the swimming. I can’t wait to open my pool from the unusually long winter and jump in. I love to swim more than anything in warmer weather because it is my favorite sport and plus I like to play volleyball as well. As soon as it starts getting consistently warmer, I am going to be outside cleaning my pool and heating it to 85 degrees celsius.

ReplyDeleteI’m extremely excited for spring this year. The nice hot weather, which means no more boots or big, bulky jackets. We will finally be able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. We can wear T-shirts and our sneakers/sandals, maybe a small jacket if needed. No more suffering from the cold. After so long, we’ll be able to have the nice hot sun kiss our skin. I’m also excited for sports. I will start playing soccer soon, plus I’ll start going for nice, relaxing walks. I’ll finally catch up on good exercise. I can’t wait to start swimming as well. The refreshing water of the pool, I really can’t wait. I love swimming, and after so long, I’m extremely excited to be able to enjoy the pool.

DeleteI am so happy it is spring because it means school is over soon, and the weather is becoming beautiful. When the weathers beautiful, hot and clear i am at my happiest. So the main reason I am excited for spring is because I know summer is coming which makes me so unbelievably happy! I also love walking home from school which i finally can after this brutally cold winter that seemed to last forever. Spring always goes by so fast, and with a blink of an eye, it becomes summer. Which excites me so much!

DeleteThere are so many things that spring brings along with it that I am excited about. One of the things that excites me the most is that the days are getting longer and much warmer. This is such an exciting thing because it leaves more room in the day to enjoy the warmth. Another thing is that all the animals are migrating back or are waking up from hibernation and nature is everywhere, from the flowers blossoming to the grass getting green. All of these things are so amazing and just make the whole spring experience all the better.
ReplyDeleteI am happy that spring is here mainly because of all the sports. The sports that start for me in the spring are probably my most favorite sports to play, and I would play all year round, and they are baseball, road racing, BMX racing, and mountain biking. I love baseball because it's a sport that I really enjoy, but the best part about it is being with my friends and just having fun with them. The other part I enjoy is biking because I've been doing it since I was about 4 years old, and I started BMX racing at 7 years old, then I started road racing at 10 years old, and lastly now I'm trying out mountain bike racing this. So, I practically been biking my whole life. That's why I am excited that spring is here.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for spring for one reason and that is that rugby has started. Rugby is one of my passions. With other sports like soccer or football you have to be good at one thing but in rugby there is literally a position for anyone no matter your size, weight or speed. I think that rugby is one of the best sports on the planet do to it's simplicity and how your team will have so many different players on it.

I am so happy the weather is changing, especially after such a brutal winter, I can finally put all my winter clothes away and bring out my shorts. Also, school coming to an end is just fantastic because I don't like school and that means summer is almost here.

DeleteI am really excited for the spring for many reasons. First of all, spring to me means no more snow, and warmer weather. This means I get to wear skirts and shorts (but I still have to be careful because of the dress code). I am also happy that school is coming to an end, and so is swimming! I am really excited for summer, because this has been one of the busiest years of my life, and I couldn't need more rest. During spring, flowers are blooming, and its nice enough to walk outside or go to the park. I also wore shorts for the first time this weekend, and this got me really happy for some reason.

Now that the weather is better I can go swimming, biking, and for that I am really excited. I am also excited because it means that school is almost over. Rugby has also started now and i'm pretty excited to play. It is my first time so I will have to see how it goes.

DeleteI despise spring! My allergies start to act up, it rains all the time, it smells like cow poop and it's very muddy everywhere, but, the blog this week is about what you like about spring. So, if I had to choose one thing that I like most about spring is that it's starting to get warmer so, I can start playing soccer outside and play catch outside with my brother. Although playing outside isn't the best because of my allergies I still enjoy going outside without a jacket and I get to run outside and not freeze to death.

DeleteI am so excited for spring to start because I kind of hate winter. I mean it's not bad in December but once it starts dragging on into march I'm ready for it to be over. Spring is finally here and in my mind all I can think of is the upcoming summer. Summer means hot weather and no school. Spring also means my birthday which is also really exciting for me. Whenever spring starts to roll around I fell like everyone's mood changes because they know that the school year is almost over and summer is just around the corner.

My favorite part about spring is that I can finally play the sports that i have not been able to play outside for months, such as basketball, soccer, and baseball. Those three sports are so fun when you get a whole bunch of people to go and play with you. Usually during the spring i spend a lot of my time outside playing such fun games

DeleteI am super excited for spring because this means that I'll be able to play soccer on real grass outside. I hate being stuck in a gym all winter. When you player soccer on a gym floor, the ball never stops bouncing so it's so hard to control. Also now that I can play outside, I can actually practice shooting on a full size net instead of the miniature ones in the gym. Spring mean the start to a new soccer season and I can't wait to get started.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for spring but what I am most excited for is playing soccer outside. All throughout the winter, I've had to play indoors either in a gym or a dome. As much as I love to play soccer, I much prefer to play it outside on the turf or grass. I also love to wear cleats rather than indoor shoes because it feels a lot better to dig my cleats into the turf. Another reason why I am excited to play outside is because the ball does not roll around everywhere or bounce all over the place. In the gym I have to run after the ball but outside it plants into the ground and is a lot easier to play with. When spring starts, it means the season starts which means I get to play games which I love to do but do not do in the winter. I think that the thing I am most excited for in soccer is all of the tournaments I am in, starting with one in May! I cannot wait to start playing soccer more.

ReplyDeleteI am so excited for spring because it means barbecue season! Every year, as it starts to get warmer, my mom leaves me in charge of barbecuing. Whether it's Filet Mignon or just plain old chicken breasts, I am the only one that barbecues. I just love it so much! The sound of the sizzling meat on the grill just brings joy to me! We just recently had our first barbecue of the season and it was absolutely amazing! I love grilling everything because it leaves a nice smokey flavour that I just can't get enough of! I am looking forward to many more barbecues in the near future!

I'm super excited that it's finally spring because it means that summer is coming! The weather is so much better because its not too hot and not too cold which is the best. Also, we don't have to wear heavy jacket or boots and we can finally wear light jacket and just shoes! Also, my soccer season has finally started and I'm super excited for that!

DeleteI'm so incredibly excited for spring and summer! i love spring, the smell, the freshness, the feeling of turning over a new page. I love spring cleaning because i feel so refreshed and great! i look forward to so many things in the spring. everyyear when it's start getting warm out, my friends and i start walking/busing everywhere. We usually walk to Samantha's house after school and go through the Pointe-Claire train station. During lunnch, we walk to the park and hangout by the benches. I also really love spring because its the end of school and i just really don't like school. I make so many plans for the summer and get so excited! This year though, I am especially excited because I am getting my braces off in june. It is something I have been looking forward to for so long. I just can't wait to start wearing summer clothes.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited for the start of spring because I can finally start biking to school and other places with my friends, start wearing shorts and other spring clothes etc. I am also very happy because now that winter is done I don't have to wear a giant winter jacket, stay home and do nothing because it's too cold outside and I won't have to worry about falling on ice anymore. And my final reason why I am excited is because now that spring is here it means summer is even closer and who doesn't like summer! I'm really happy its hot outside and the dumb weather is finally gone and i'm actually able to go outside without freezing!
ReplyDeleteI have major spring fever! I'm so excited for spring mostly because of the hot weather! I love to be able to come home from school and go for walks outside! I'm also very excited for spring because of the clothes! I love spring clothes. I love going spring shopping with my sisters and getting all my spring clothes out and trying them on. I love spring colors and it makes me really excited for the end of the school year and for summer to begin. I also love spring because it means starting to have barbecues! Another thing I love about spring is that my two sisters who are in cegep finish school in spring which means that I get to do lots of fun things with them after school because they have so much free time! Overall I love spring and I'm so happy it's here !
