Your FINAL BLOG topic is FREE CHOICE! You could blog about whatever it is you want, except what you've already blogged about! You could go on a rant or you could simply blog about something important to you.
I highly recommend that you go OUTSIDE the BOX! Be creative and write about something you feel important or something you would like to tell your audience. GO ALL OUT! HAVE FUN!
You must remember your audience. It is not simply me (Mr. Katz) reading this blog!
If you will be ranting about a certain individual, you need to leave their name out of this. You could give them a pseudonym or simply leave their name as anonymous.
Make sure your language is appropriate. Do not go on swearing tangents.
For my final blog I'm going to talk about food!!!!!! I think everyone has a favorite food, or two. To start off, I'm a very picky eater, I don't like a lot of things and I'm not a huge fan of meat. Oh, and I HATE bacon! Everyone finds it so surprising that I hate bacon, I mean maybe it tastes good to them but to me it smells and tastes horrible. The one food I could literally eat everyday for the rest of my life is these Snap Pea Crisps. They are just the most amazing things, if you don't know what they are, they're snap peas, made into crispy, sort of baked chip things. They are so amazing and they're a pretty healthy snack too! I really like them because first of all you buy them at Costco, which is literally the best place ever, and second of all they come in a huge box and in each tiny bag there's like 100 little chips!!!! I really enjoy savory snacks like trail mix and nuts, so these snacks are perfect for me. I have Snap Pea Crisps everyday at school and beg my dad to buy them when he goes to Costco. Not only do I enjoy savory snacks but I'm also a huge fan of sour candy. Anything sour is the best! I love sour gummies, and especially War Heads. Even though War Heads are extremely sour they are so fun to eat!!! Finally, I just want to add in, that food is the best thing to blog about because everything just tastes so good!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGrace Makinson
As a fellow bacon hater, I understand where you're coming from, and I absolutely love those Snap Pea Crisps!
DeleteFood is the most amazing thing ever! I still can't believe you hate bacon!! Thanks for always giving me your Snap peas!! They are delicious!
DeleteFor my final blog I’m going to talk about my passion for the holy beverage that is coffee. A lot of people have told me that I’m too young to drink it, but I say you’re never too young to enjoy what I believe is happiness in a cup. So rich, smooth and bold, it awakens your senses yet has a soothing warm beverage effect. When I was younger, I used to love the smell and would often wake up in the mornings to the lovely aroma of which I have very fond memories. I was, however, not the biggest fan of the taste then, as I found it too strong and, as I would say, “This tastes like burnt water!”. Sadly, it didn’t taste as good as it smelt. But one day, around a year ago, I decided to try it again, with a bit of milk and sugar, and I fell instantly in love. My mornings are just not the same without a nice steaming cup of coffee that immediately wakes me up, and to this day, my love is still as strong as the taste of dark roast coffee.
ReplyDeletePersonally I am not a huge fan of coffee, but its good that you have something that wakes you up for school in the morning!
DeleteWhat’s one thing that every girl has, they come in many colors sizes and shapes, the lace up, clip, buck or slip on? Obviously the answer is shoes. Whenever you are walking down a hallway in school how many times do you actually look at the shoes someone is wearing. I rarely look at someone’s feet if I just see them for a few seconds so why is it that we spend so much money on tons of pairs of shoes if they are really not that important? Well, I think that shoes give a person lots of control over how they express themselves. Since the dress code for school is pretty strict we can’t often wear what we please but its not the same with shoes. We can wear whatever we want on our feet. Asides from being practical and comfortable shoes have transformed into a mean of expression and personal style. Now when you walk by someone in the hallway look down at their shoes and it could tell you a lot about that person.
ReplyDeleteI love shoes too, a cute pair of shoes can make or break an outfit!
DeleteIn life we are frequently asked what we want to do/be when we get older. The typical answer almost always involves a profession, that’s how I’d answer the question until two days ago. I was watching this movie and the protagonist was looking through his year book. Next to each person’s name the question “what is your life’s ambition” was asked. The pages filled with every type of profession you can think of, until he landed on one that was different. This girl wrote that her life’s ambition was to witness a miracle. As cheesy as that sounds, I thought that it was beautiful. Instead of going with the norm and answering that question as everyone else, she came up with her own original goal. From now on I am always going to answer the way she did and whether or not you planned to as well, I hope that everyone gets their miracle.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the John Lennon quote "When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.”
DeleteI have never blogged about this before, so I will. I realized that one of my favorite past times has always been reading, in English or French. I loved reading books that belonged to a long series like "Pretty Little Liars" , "The Lying Game", or Trilogies like "The Hunger Games" and "Divergent". I loved reading them because of how emotionally attached I grew to all the characters. That's why it was much easier for me to read a series. It was much more interesting going on and on reading about the same characters because it felt like you really knew them, almost as if you were close friends. After a while, you would start to picture their exact appearance, and know how they would react to certain situations. It felt like you were their friend and knew their hole backstory. The best part was when the time came for the book to end, you didn't have to worry on not seeing them again because another book would be waiting. Today I was talking to some of my friends and I realized that I hadn't read in a very long time. Sure I had read books for English and French Class, but I hadn't made the time to read any books for myself. It was also an excellent explanation for why my French wasn't getting any better. I don't talk French at home as much as I used too, but I used to read French books all the time!! I came to the conclusion that I must start reading again!
ReplyDeleteFor my final blog I will be talking about my favourite TV show at this moment... THE FOSTERS!! I saw a post on twitter a little while ago about this show. It looked really cool and my friend also loves this show, so I thought "Why don't I try it out". I watched the first episode and I loved it. I love the whole idea of the show and how I get to watch a show about teenagers facing problems I have and many others. I became obsessed with this show just last monday. I am so happy that I have American Netflix because they have the first two seasons. I ended up spending every day after school watching it and during the long weekend. I might sound insane but I finished both seasons, which is 42 episodes and they are each around 40 minutes long. The season finally was a car crash with a few main characters in it, with a police saying that there was one death. That ending killed me. Sadly the third season only airs on June 8th!! But I honestly love finding shows that I get into because it's just the best feeling ever!! I am so happy I started watching it and I highly recommend it.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a really awesome show! (because you're always talking about it with Haley!!!) but i'd like to start watching it online!!! maybe it will be my new favorite show?...but...probably not! I'm obsessed with ORPHAN BLACK!!!!!!
DeleteGrace
oh my god i watch this show too and its amazing!! I started last summer and i'm obsessed!!
DeleteFor my last final blog, (imagine hand folded in prayer emoji) sorry but c'mon, ill be writing about things that make me happy. I clearly haven't lived long enough to find out all the things I love but here are a few I just can't live without and am very grateful for doing/seeing/being able to do. I love the smell of spring, first snow fall, fall leaves, sunsets, calm waters, watching the stars, climbing roofs, exploring the city, spare change found around the house, whip cream, ice cream, biking, chilling in the forest, finding abandoned places, road trips , concerts , clothes, tv show marathons, Netflix, hot cocoa, the heat from the fire place, bonfires, parties, tacos, sleepovers, camping, polaroid cameras, old pictures, coffee, thrift shops, antique shops, mount royal views, traveling, unknown music, sun hitting my face to wake me up, roller coasters, ped days, old movies, early hikes, abandoned cars, record shops, skating, late night Chinese food orders, ouija boards, cards against humanity, home videos, late phone calls, new clothes/shoes, cottages, tubbing, rafting, snorkeling, shell collecting, sunrises, etc. I just got happy thinking about it all and I hope you did too. I have memories for all and just can't wait to do it all again for many more years to come.

ReplyDeleteFor my final blog I am going to talk about my first ever year of playing rugby. Honestly, I tried out for the rugby team not knowing anything about the sport at all. The most I knew about it was that you are supposed to run with the ball and score points. I went to the practices and everything and learned that it was really a lot more complicated than that. The first game of the season I was a little discouraged because I didn't play at all, like I wasn't even on the backups. However for the second game I was and to my surprise somebody got injured within the first five minutes so I played the whole game. It was a lot of fun but requires a lot more running than I thought. I then became a starter which was awesome. the whole thing was a new experience and I am looking forward to playing again.
ReplyDeletePreach
DeleteGood job Jacob!!! I don't know anything about rugby so don't worry.
DeleteI know most people are going to think I am going to do this blog about sailing but instead I am going to do my blog about my second favorite sport. I do this all year and I have a lot of success : Kyokushin karate. This is a modern type of karate that is comparable to mixed martial arts minus the fighting that happens on the floor. I am currently a brown belt after 6 years of training. I train 3 times a week for a total of 6 hours. I am a fighter. I fight about every month in tournaments and I have definitely won more than twice as much as I have lost. For some reason when I say this, people are like " you? But you're like skinny and weak as hell". Well you're right. But that is not how fighting works. If you think fighting is all strength then you are not a good fighter. I am 120 pounds and I have beaten people over 40 pounds heavier than me.This brings me to the main point : the common misconception that no intelligence is required in fighting. The biggest mistake that I see when I fight people who lose is that they do not think. They just punch and kick and try and hurt the other person. If anyone has watched profession fights, you will know that people do not go all out ever. I win almost every single fights with an ipong ( japanese term that means that the enemy has shown pain/weakness for over 5 seconds ). The way these fights work is that if you show pain, the other person gets a point. In my opinion, the best strategy is to fight passively until you crack the other person. I watch the other person's eyes when I fight. I know when they feel pain so I can hit them at that place over and over again. Since I am a lighter guy, I can not win by brute force. I need to outsmart the other person. If I am not able to crack my enemy, I lose, every single time because there is nothing I can do. Intelligence in fighting includes two main aspects: Being able to control and hide pain and being able to outsmart the enemy. If you are able to hide your pain the whole time, you can win even if you are bleeding/hurting more than your opponent. But back to the main misconception, hitting someone once very hard is a lot better than hitting someone 100 times very weakly. So the main point of this blog, is that if you are able to outsmart your opponent and being able to hit them without them blocking. Then with proper training, you can win in .5 seconds even though the opponent was not hurting before. All of this to say that a smart man will beat a strong man any day, with no exception.
ReplyDelete0_0 woah that's long
DeleteReally well written and nicely said, and no your not "weak as hell" I think that's another misconception.
DeleteNice quote, I agree with it 100%.
DeleteFor my last blog I'm going to say my thank yous. "What does he mean?" you must be asking yourself, well if you are I'll fill you in. I'm going to say thank you to all the good thing in this class because in a couple of weeks english class will be no more.

For my final blog I will be writing about one of my favorite sports, Tai Jujitsu. This is a form of martial arts that has been created to defend and take down as efficiently and as fast as possible. I did this sport for 4 years as well as cage fighting for 2 years in the same class, for a total of 6 years and I made it to brown belt which is right before black. I used to train around 4 times week for 2 hours. I say "used to" because I am no longer enrolled in that sport since my teacher went insane and when someone would start bleeding from a punch he yelled at them to get up because they were getting his mats dirty. That's when I decided I was done with him. This sport is very different from all others because size does NOT matter. My teachers brother was 5 foot 3 and was a professional MMA fighter, he is one dude you would never want to mess with, he could easily take down someone that was 6 foot 4 in a matter of seconds. I was in fact one of the best students in the class we determined this by a form of fighting called sparring. It's basically a full on fight with no pads or anything. For the first 3 years I always came in second because there was this one guy he was 16 years old and I was 13 at the time, and he would keep beating me over and over again until one class were I just got really frustrated and mad which fueled me in a way. That class was by far my favorite sessions because everyone was so shocked that a 5 foot 1, 13 year old kid was able to make a 5 foot 11 kid tap out from not being about to move. I can't even describe the feeling of satisfaction I had. In the end when we bowed down to each other I had a huge smirk on my face from my victory. For the last 2 years of my stay our teacher bought a cage which was 12x12 feet and you are supposed to put 2 people in there and lock the door. The last one to tap out was the winner. He would first teach us techniques and defense positions and then we would put them to work in the cage. You could say that he taught us a form of jujitsu and cage fighting fusion.
ReplyDeleteDespite our technique and fighting differences between Alex and I, I fully agree with what he said which was "a smart man will beat a strong man any day". Saying that you can't be a stick fighting a body builder either.
For the final blog, I will talk about something that I never thought that I would ever tell anyone. Do any of you love being home alone? I do, and I embrace every minute of it when it happens. No one really knows though, because it is obviously not something I would talk about with my friends or family, so this is the perfect opportunity! First of all, whenever I get home from school, my mom is still at work, my dad is usually out and my sister is at the gym, so you can't even imagine how excited I get last period knowing that in less than an hour I will be free. I don't do what usual people do when they're home alone... I don't watch movies/Netflix, or invite friends over. After school, I eat a lot of food like anyone else would. Afterwards, I go into my bathroom (don't worry this isn't going where you think it is going), and I basically blast my favourite songs in the sink (because somehow, music sounds louder when it echoes in the drain), and I attempt to dance. Sometimes I change into different outfits depending on the song, and pretend to be in a coke commercial (life goal #4). On weekends, I go into my "zen" mode, and make crazy face masks with what ever kind of food I have, hoping that I won't get a rash! Then I play with my dog outside, or do an ab work out just because why not? One of my biggest secrets, is that at times when I am really daring and bored, I steal some of my dads beer and go out into the garage where he does his work. I blast music, since he has a huge stereo, and I just dance around and sing until I get tired. I have told you all a lot now, so you have to promise you won't tell ANYONE. Not even you Mr. Katz.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry you're not alone:')
DeleteFor my final blog, I will be writing about the future. I’m sure almost everyone has big dreams that they will like to accomplish/fulfil when they are older. One thing I have learned is that big dreams are great and they can come true if you believe and strive for what you want. One thing we must remember though, is that nothing comes easy in life. You need to work extremely hard for what you want. If you give up on your dream, it’s because you didn’t want it enough. Yes I have big dreams, and yes I have those moments where I believe that I cannot accomplish them even if I try, but I always find a way to push through those negative thoughts and think of the good and positives ones. Anything can happen if you believe it, work hard for it, and want it bad enough. I have many dreams, some bigger than others. For instance, When I’m older, I’d like to move to Australia.I find it such a different and unique country. I don’t know what it is that makes me love it so much, but I know for sure that I would love to move there. Whenever I tell people this dream of mine, they never believe that I will actually go, mostly because of how far it is and how I won’t know anyone there and will be afraid to be alone. This hurts my feelings because it’s as if no one believes in me. I know in my heart and in my mind that I will accomplish it because I want it bad enough. I will get a good job and prove to everyone that I am capable of living on my own without any help. Basically the point of this blog, is to tell you to not let anyone get int he way of you and your dreams. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. Want it, believe it, and work hard for it. By doing so, I guarantee your dream will come true.
ReplyDeleteFor my final blog I would like to give some suggestions for next year to make your next class even better than we were. One thing that would make everything much easier would be, to put all the blogs up for the month, so if one week a student forgets to finish a blog they could just go and finish it the next week. But one thing that would not be good is if the kids forget to do their blogs and are stuck doing them at the end of the month. Another suggestion would be to give the kids an option on what to read, for examples, the book monster you could have given us an option of a few other books, this way the kids will be happier to read the book that they chose. My final suggestion would be, at the end of every month to have a little party so the kids will look forward to school and they will probably love you.

For my final blog of the year I'm going to write about reality TV shows. No offense to whoever likes them but I kind of hate them. Everyone on the shows are really fake and just trying to be famous. Some of them can be plain ridiculous. To be perfectly honest, I don't even see a point to them. I mean, half the people on the show wind up being extremely emotional over really stupid things. One reality TV show that really bothers me is keeping up with the Kardashians. It's so obnoxious, (no offense to anyone who like it) I don't even see why they should get a show. Sorry if I've offended anyone in my rant but that's how I feel. Good bye and Good riddance English blogs.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. They call it reality but almost all of it is acting and over exaggerating.
DeleteI know that Mr. Katz didn't want us writing about the summer but I have something really exciting that I want to share so I'm going to do it anyways. My family loves to travel. Almost every summer we try to go somewhere different and this year my parents wanted to go full out with our trip. After a long discussion about it they have decided that we're going to Japan this summer! I am so super excited for this trip and I can't believe we're going. Although it's going to be a very long plane ride it's going to be such a cool experience because of the different culture and the language. My dad has been before because of work so he knows his way around but he says that he wants to try new things that none of us have experienced yet. One of the things I'm looking forward to the most is being in Tokyo. I think it will be so cool to see just how different and busy the city will be and how we will get around. I am so incredibly grateful to be able to travel with my family and experience all these different things and I hope that when I'm older I get to do the same and go on many more adventures!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lot of fun
DeleteFor this final blog, I've decided to talk about high school in general. When I first started high school, like everyone, I was freaking out! There was almost 4 times as many students there was in my elementary. I remember I walked in and I was so nervous but by the end of the day, I was perfectly fine! And now, were already half way done high school and were all going to be in grade 10. I find that crazy, I feel like I just started high school. I find it so weird how 3 years has gone by but it's felt like nothing. Although I hate going to school or homework or things like that, if I didn't go to high school, I wouldn't have met any of my friends. This is very weird to say, but, I'm actually pretty grateful for school!
ReplyDeleteI was also so nervous coming into high school! The same goes with me, had I not come to this high school, I would not have met any of my best friends that I have now!
DeleteFor my final blog, I decided to write about a recap of my life leading up to this point right now. I was born on October 25th in the Jewish General Hospital at 11:12 a.m. (so close to 11:11). Growing up, I was around three brothers and I was pretty much a tomboy. When I was five, I joined house league soccer and traveled to South Carolina. This was my first ever trip and I can still remember a few things. This was also the year that I entered elementary school. I will never forget how the first day went down. I live right near my school so my parents walked me there. I walked into my class and noticed that everybody had a school bag except me. This resulted in me crying and I made my dad walk home to get my bag. When I was six, my family went to Israel for the first time. I can’t remember most things but I do remember small things like how everybody on the tour bus had matching fanny packs and red baseball caps. That year, I also had my first birthday party with friends and by the end, I was hanging out with my brothers while all of my friends were dancing on the other side of the room. I was pretty crazy in elementary school and was always hyper. In grade six, I had my bat mitzvah and that was probably one of the highlights of my life so far. Graduating elementary school, I thought I would remain friends with my best friend but unfortunately that did not happen. I feel like everything happens for a reason and I ended up with friends that I love and can always count on. My first year of high school, I was scared just like most other kids but I knew I would make friends fast. In secondary 2, I went on the Boston trip and I feel like I bonded a lot with people in our grade and now have more friends from that trip. Now, we’re in Secondary 3 and probably all starting to think about exams and summer. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for me.
ReplyDeleteFor my last blog, I am going to talk about myself and my relationship with teachers. Few teachers know who I really am. In most of my classes I am quiet and behave for the most part. Although I am a little sarcastic, just a little, somewhat sassy and I can sometimes be mean at school. At home I am actually a lot worse, I act as if I have horns on top of my head. Anyways this year I feel like I have sort of ruined my three years of a decent reputation. A teacher who will remain nameless, heard me say a HARMLESS joke to a close friend of mine in the hallway. After trying to explain myself, she sent me to the office, which meant I got a detention. Mrs. Shizgal wanted me to do something creative so I don't say something like that again. I don't think she was happy with my (creative) decision to write a letter because it sounded (just a little) sarcastic. Anyways as a result of this I get dirty looks from Mrs. Shizgal and that teacher almost everyday. It makes me feel fantastic! I have moved on and I hope they can eventually move on too. Although I have forgiven myself for what I said, I still have a strong hate for that teacher. This year I also wrote something on somebody's locker which was obviously wrong but I felt as if I was standing up for my friends. This person was talking negatively about them and I didn't particularly like that. This person somewhat overreacted because instead of just erasing it, she ran to Mr. Abracen. I found it pretty funny that I didn't even get a detention for this. My punishment was spending a period with the lady in the planning room just talking about it. That worked out great for me because I got to miss a French test. I also like how Mr. Abracen handled the situation, he was really nice. Now I feel that I won't ever be looked at the same again. I would have much rather to go through high school without the faculty even knowing my name. Oh well I'm here two more years I think I can handle it. Okay Baiii
ReplyDeleteToday, for my free blog, I will be writing about all the injuries (bobos) that I have been accumulating over the past 15 years. The first one was when I broke my left arm the day before we went on vacation. We went to a beach, so I wasn’t really fun, because I could not go. My second one was a concussion in fifth grade when I fell on ice. I went to the hospital with my mom and she kept yelling at me in the car so I would not fall asleep…. I was falling asleep. In sixth grade I got an infection behind my ear. I went to the hospital every day for 5 days to have liquid injected in an IV through the vein in my hand. My ear was at least 3 times its normal size. Then in sec 2, I got 6 stiches on my left thigh… I got scratched with a nail. Doctor did not do a very good job though. It looks like I have a caterpillar on my thigh now. The funny part was, during the stitching, he farted!!! For the final injury, the one who triggered this idea for the blog, is my sprained ankle. The bone sticking on the outside, is the size of a golf ball. As you can see I’ve been through quite a bit in my short 15 years. Hopefully that is the end of it!
ReplyDeleteFor my FINAL blog, I’m going to talk about the things I want to do this summer! This summer I am mostly looking forward to spending it with all my friends and family. My friends and I have already started talking about the things that we want to do and try this summer. Most of us have already bought our season passes for Laronde so we are for sure going to be there every week! I also would like to go shopping downtown or in Laval because I should be getting a job soon so I will have money to buy myself nice things that I’ve wanted forever. I’m still trying to get tickets for the 2 concerts I really want to see this summer which are Drake and Nicki Minaj. I’m really excited for the little things too like going to see new movies, getting ice cream, having picnics and things like that. Even the days where we all stay home to watch Netflix all day. All this to say I am ecstatic for my summer vacation and can’t wait for another school year to be over!
ReplyDeleteFor my final blog of the year, I will be talking about my high school journey. Can you believe that we already over halfway done? The past three years that we have spent in high school have gone by so quickly. I can still remember going to my homeroom in Grade 7, Mr. Allali's art class. I knew only one person coming in to St-Thomas, and she was in immersion. I didn't know anyone in the IB program and quickly made many friends. I think high school has really changed me for the better. I used to be very quiet, and i have definitely become much more outgoing. Next year is a big year for us because our grades determine wether or not we get in to cegep. I can't wait for a well deserved summer break for all of us and and to live a stress free summer!
ReplyDeleteFor my final blog, I'm going to talk about this time of the year (specifically around May to June). I really hate this time of the year, it is the most stressful and challenging time of the school year due to the fact that you have to begin studying for all your exams and such but also at the same time you are also given lots of other exams and projects. Also (if you play sports) a lot of the teams begin their season which doesn't help when you have to also focus on sports while already being stressed over exams and projects. I really cannot wait for the exams to be over and hopefully I do well. Anyways, thanks Mr. Katz for not stressing us out during this time of the school year and playing a movie for us in class it really helps make the day less stressful after all the classes where you have to start reviewing and do lots of work. It's been a great year and I hope everyone does well on their exams :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, this part of the year is very stressing and challenging.
DeleteFor my free blog, I will be writing about my future up until I have a job. I want to be a cardiac surgeon so that requires a lot of school. So I'm going to start from where I am now. First I would ace my exams and have a great summer. Then i'll get through sec 4 and 5 taking as many science classes (physics and chemistry) as possible because I'll need to know those types of things later on. Then I would get into John Abbott College and get into the Honours Science program. I would get my diploma after college. After that, I would go to McGill Medical School for 4 years in the Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery program. After University, I would complete my residency at the hospital of my choice for 6 years which is basically being a surgeon under a real surgeon's wing. Then I would hopefully pass my surgical exam to practice independently in Canada and become a certified surgeon. So all of this is what I want now but it might change over the course of high school.
ReplyDeleteFor my final blog, I am going to be talking about a music festival that I went to last night with a bunch of my friends. Three of us left my house at around 4 to get downtown. We finally got there at 5 and decided to eat something first. We got subway then made our way to Rue St. Denis, which was where the festival took place, to meet us with some other friends. Once we met up with our other six friends, we started to walk around, even though the festival was pretty dead and boring at this point. We were starting to think the whole night was going to end up this way until we ran into a huge group of about fifteen other friends. We were so happy and ended up hanging out in that huge group all night. At about 9, the festival was very upbeat and there were a bunch of people dancing and having a great time. We were having an amazing time until one of the people ended up dislocating his knee! He fell and suddenly his knee cap wasn't in the right place. We called the ambulance and ended up having to wait for it for about 2 hours. When it finally came and left, it was about 11:30 and we all agreed we should go home. We went to McDonald's then bused home. I was exhausted by the time I got home, but ended up having an amazing night!

DeleteFor my final blog, I will be talking about a music festival I attended on friday. One of my soccer friends named Emilia told me about it and told me I should go with my friends. I decided to go with two of my friends, Sam and Jamie and we planned on meeting up with her (Emilia) and her friends when we got down there. Right after school, we bused to Sam's house and ate and then changed into our clothes. We then bused to fairview so that we could take the 470 to côte-vertu and then take the metro downtown. We ended up busing all the way to Jean talon and decided to get some food before we went. We got some Subway's and then took the metro to st-denis. When we got there, there wasn't much happening and we all got worried that it was going to be like that all night. We met up with Emilia and her friends and they were all super nice and we had a blast with them. We hungout with them for a while and later on, we met up with a huge group of kids we knew from school. At 9 it started to get really fun and crazy! There were so many cool activities to do and the music was great. We were all dancing and singing in a huge circle when all of a sudden, this kid nick jumped and landed weirdly on his leg. I knew at that moment that something was wrong and it turns out he dislocated his knee! We had to call for an ambulance but in the meantime, we all still danced and had fun. 2 hours later, the ambulance came and he got taken away on a stretcher. We ended busing home with a group of guys we knew at 11:30 ish and we also took a stop at McDonald's. We finally got home at 12:30! It was a crazy night but one of the best nights of my life! We met so many really nice cool people and got to talk to a lot of kids from school we had never talked to before.
