  1. I LOVE Christmas! I love everything about it, it just makes me so happy! As soon as December fist comes around I'm on it, I decorate my room, my house and of course my locker. I'd have to say my locker this year is probably my best decorating work yet, I have candy canes, Christmas cards, snowflakes and the real show stopper... Christmas lights! I just love opening my locker and instantly feeling happy and festive! I also love going Christmas shopping, I love anticipating the look on their face when they open the gift! Every year I get so excited for Christmas day but after I always find that the lead up to Christmas is the best part. All the decorating, enthusiasm and happiness that comes with it! I find that Christmas brings out the best in people and that's why I love it! It really is the best time of year!

  3. I am soooo excited for Christmas and can't wait for all my presents! Since my nine year old still believes in Santa Clause, my brothers and I still get presents from "him". This year I already know what I'm getting because I needed to try it on before my mom bought it. They are lulu lemon leggings which I've wanted for a while and I'm soooo excited to wear them after the break! Besides getting presents, I love to give presents and seeing the reactions on people's faces when they open my gifts to them. It makes me happy to know that I made someone else happy. This Christmas will be the best while spending it with my family and hopefully time doesn't go that fast!

  4. Honestly I"m not ready for Christmas AT ALL!! Usually I have already decorated my room and outside but this year I never seem to have the time to decorate outside. But I am so ready for the break. All the time all I ever seem to worry about is school, and now exams. I'm ready to leave it all and actually sleep more than 6 hours. I'm also ready for all the food I'm probably going to eat. My mom usually makes all different kinds of food during the winter break, so when we eventually eat it it's SO good because we only have it once a year. I'm also ready to see my family. Christmas eve my dads side of the family gets together and have a huge dinner, then we open our presents, and every second christmas my moms side of the family comes down from Calgary and we all celebrate together on christmas morning. I'm so excited this year we get to see them again.

    1. I agree right now school is one of the only things on mind and it will be nice to sleep in. Also your holiday food must be really special since your mom only makes it once a year.

  5. I am so ready for this christmas break for so many reasons. First of all, it seems like school has been going non stop since September and I need a well deserved rest for my brain. Sure we have the weekends but is it really the same thing as a full two week off? The weekends might be low-key but I am ready for a whole homeworkless two weeks of sleeping in. Aslo its christmas, my favorite holiday of the year! I love the atmosphere of giving and the cozyness of the whole thing. And lets be real, we all enjoy waking up christmas morning and opening some nice presents. The food is another bonus. From the mashed potatoes to christmas log I love it all! The last reason that I am ready for the break is so I can catch up on all of the things I have been meaning to get to but I haven’t had the chance. I am excited for time to chill, hang out with my friends and have a blast!

  6. I actually don’t feel that excited for christmas break because I know in my head that before then I have a major exam for math and science and this next week and a half will be a living hell. The only time I will start being excited for anything is after the exams, saying that it doesn’t mean I can't look forward to when it comes along which is always calming and puts your mind at rest when you're stressing before these big tests. Some of the things I can look forward to over the break is seeing my cousins a lot with my grandparents that are constantly cooking which is a familiar sight. We are probably also going to decorate the house for christmas. I think this christmas break is going to be relaxed and very needed.

  7. I think we can all agree we are in need of a well-deserved break. School has been non-stop since the beginning of the year and I can’t wait to take two weeks of homework and stress free relaxation. Especially now, in the midst of studying, the only thing keeping me from going insane is the thought that Christmas, my absolute favourite time of the year, is coming soon. I can’t describe my excitement for the holidays with all the wonderful things they bring. Just picturing waking up on Christmas morning, eating lots of yummy holiday treats and spending time with my family is enough to put a smile on my face, even through the long hours I’ll be spending studying. I’ve been decorating and playing Christmas music since November, so now that the end is in sight, I’m more hopeful than ever that this will be a great two weeks. This year, more than ever, I’m in need of a Christmas break, and I just can’t wait to begin all the holiday festivities.

  8. I can’t wait for the winter break! I’m so excited because there’s no school, which means there’s no homework, which means no stress. I can’t wait to just relax and finally not worry about school. I’m looking forward to seeing my aunt that I’m really close too. She lives in Toronto, which makes it hard to see her often. I’m excited to eat all the food that my grandparents make. It’s so good. I’m also excited to wake up on Christmas morning, to some presents. I think that’s something everyone enjoys. Unwrapping a present and hoping it’s the one thing you really wanted.

  9. I'm so excited for winter break because it give me the time to relax and have fun before the rest of the school year comes by and I have to go back to school to work. I like the fact that on winter break there is no homework which lets me fully relax, some of my friends from other schools have their exams after the break so they need to study during the break which sucks. I am so happy that the break in coming up because it lets me see my friends that do not go to this school and that I do not see much. I can't wait for Christmas morning, I love the feeling of waking up and realizing that there are presents under the tree and that my parents and I will be opening them together.

  10. I am ready for Christmas because I am excited to see my family. My grandmother lives in Florida and she only comes back during Christmas and in the summer. I cant wait to actually be able to see the whole family on the 24th! I am also excited to just finally end the stress and all the problems that I had before Christmas will be like reset once I get back to school. It is also a great time of the year because everyone is happy and I feel like some people on my street are always depressed but then when Christmas time comes, they are always happy and nice. The last thing I am excited for is the exchange of presents.Because lets be real, who does not like giving and receiving presents?

  11. I am extremely excited for Christmas! I am very exhausted with school and I am really excited to be on break! I also don't get to see my family that live far away very often but my cousins from Toronto are coming to see us for Christmas and my cousins from England are coming and I'm really excited to see them as well! I am going to try to relax and have a lot of fun with friends and family this Christmas break! I really hope it doesn't go by too fast because I have been counting down till Christmas break for 50 days now and there are only 4 days of school left until we can do whatever we want!! I hope you all have a fun break!

    2. That is so much fun that you are having family from different countries get all together at your house. I am very lucky, all of my family lives in Canada. It must be really hard not being able to see them very often.

  12. I personally love Christmas and for so many reasons. We get to miss school for two weeks during winter break. I think that is so smart because then we get to rest from all the work we have done and just enjoy ourselves and take it easy. I also love the fact that I get to decorate my house with so many fun decorations and seeing all the houses with cool lights, it’s so pretty. I love going Christmas shopping for family and friends because I love making people happy and I also love getting gifts from others. This year my friends and I did Secret Santa and it was really fun. I enjoy watching all Christmas movies being played during the month of December and dressing up at school when it’s pride week. In general I am someone who loves Christmas a lot and everything that has to do with it. So you can say I have Christmas spirit

  13. I am so ready for this winter break. I'll be spending it very wisely and relaxing with my best friends, watching Christmas movies, taking all the freedom in as much as I can. After the exams I will be relieved to escape the school, I'm really excited to leave after them because it's two weeks I will try my best to not regret wasting.

  15. I love Christmas, especially Christmas break! The main reason is that there's no school and no stressing. I also enjoy it because I get to be with my relatives even though I see them basically all the time. I also love decorating my house, listening to the Justin Bieber christmas album and especially the bath and body works christmas candles! I also love buying my family presents for Christmas and seeing theyre reaction when opening it on christmas morning. I can't wait to spend time with my family and friends, just relaxing enjoying the break!

  16. I am so excited for winter break. I will get to see family, celebrate the holidays, hopefully see fireworks on New Year's Eve and no homework! I don't usually go to my country house in the winter but I think that I might go this year and I am so excited. Just the thought of being in the forest on a mountain at a lake in front of a fireplace and dressed all warm makes me really happy. I also might be going to London, Ontario to visit my cousins. One of them is my age but I don't get to see them often since they live seven hours away. We've always been really close and it's always great when I get to see them. I feel like these two weeks are going to go by way too fast so I hope to make the best of it and enjoy every moment.

  17. I am so ready for this holiday season. I have already bought almost all of my Christmas presents. I have the perfect present for each member of my family. I am also super excited to hang out with friends and family all day without having to worry about whether or not I finished my homework. That's why I like having our midterm exams before the break instead of after. I've already pulled out my Santa hat and my Christmas PJs and I'm all pumped.

  20. I am ready for the Christmas holidays because I have CHRITMAS SPIRIT!!!!!! I love Christmas, it's my favorite holiday ever!!! I love spending the holidays with my family and giving other people presents. I love to give presents to other people and see their reactions when they are thankful. The holidays is the best time of the year, it's when everyone comes together and forget their differences and helps in the community with food drives and many other things. I am so excited for Christmas morning because I love when my whole family is nice to each other no matter what and we stay in our PJ's all day and have so much fun just hanging out. I love spending time with my family!!!!

  21. This holiday is one that I am ready for because there are plenty of things that I have planned to do. The things that I have planned are spending time with my friends, for example going to see movies, skiing, playing hockey, and just hanging out. Another thing that I have planned is just sleeping all day and staying up all night, because why not. The last main thing that's planned is spending time with my family on Christmas eve and day, and even on the days where I'm not with my friends or just bored. That's basically my Christmas break.

  22. To be completely honest I am not very ready for this upcoming christmas because well I am a very lazy person who procrastinates a lot. I will admit I have done some minor things with the push from my mother, but honestly that us all that I have done. In previous years, I have pretty much been the same, I only usually help out with christmas things if my mom requests it. When we near christmas more, that is the time that I will start being more active with christmas decorations, etc. Such as decorating the tree and making a gingerbread house. Even if all this is true, I still enjoy christmas very much.

  23. I am so ready for the break and here is why; I have been studying and doing hours of homework everyday for the last week to prepare myself for two days of exams and when I’m done my exams I’m going to hibernate for the whole Christmas break and it will be glorious. I might wake up on Christmas just to see what Santa brought me but there’s a good chance I’m sleeping through it.

  24. I'm really exited for the Christams break this year! I can't wait for Christmas Day, so that when we wake up we can hurry down the stairs and rush to the tree and open our gifts. Then we drive over to my grandparents house and open more gifts and have lunch with all of my cousins, aunts and uncles. In the afternoon, we catch up with each other, go and play in the snow and I help my grandmother make dinner. When dinner is ready, we sit down all together and have a huge meal. After dinner, we talk some more and play with the younger cousins. Something I'm also really exited about is no homework. I love having no homework, tests or exams to worry about during the break. I love the fact that we have exams before the break so that we just get them over with and don't have to think about anything other than relaxation.

  25. This year I am very exited for Christmas Eve, every year all of my family members meet up and play games, eat delicious food and best of all play poker. This is a family tradition that my family and I have been celebrating for as long as I can remember. The reason I love that day so much is because, I see relatives that i only see once or twice a year.

  26. I am sooooo ready for Christmas Break! I hate having to wake up at six o'clock in the morning then spending the next six hours of the day learning mostly useless things. I can not wait until I spend my whole day watching Netflix! I am going to catch up on so many television shows. Also in the days before Christmas I'm going to watch holiday movies, make cookies and wrap a lot of presents. I am also really excited for Christmas Eve because a lot of my family comes over and my mom and grandmother make the best food ever.
